This week for PBL we have been learning about racism. We had to write in a doc and answer the questions in the doc, the questions were: What does it mean to be fair? What is an example of fair play in sport or everyday life? and What is an example of something that is in sport or everyday life? After we have answered all of those questions we had to make a Google drawing of an Olympic athlete that experienced racism. I chose Jesse Owens. Here is my create.

Once we have done that, we had to answer the list of questions below.
Why is it important we stand up for groups of people that have been unfairly treated? Because it is important that everyone is treated equally and nicely.
How have the Olympic Games helped and/or hindered athletes of colour? It promotes the ability to bring people from different cultures together
What is fairness and how can we promote it in sport? Fairness is where everyone is treated equally and we can promote it in sport by treating everyone equally.
Have you experienced racism?
